National Information Technology Authority

The National Information Technology Authority – Uganda (NITA-U) is the government agency responsible for leading and regulating the country’s ICT sector. NITA-U promotes the use of information and communication technology to improve service delivery, enhance digital infrastructure, and strengthen national capacity in ICT. Its mandate includes developing policies, standards, and frameworks that drive Uganda’s digital transformation.
